I practice holistic care with my clients, which means I take the whole person into account—body, mind, spirit, emotions, and environment. As a Christian strengths-based, client-centered therapist, I take time to listen to your story and struggles before helping you build on your strengths to move closer and closer toward your personal goals. If you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, relationship issues, or some other concern, I look forward to working with you to help you discover and experience God’s best for your life.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Washington in 2017. I enjoy being outside in nature where I can appreciate God’s beautiful creation. I like hiking, camping, and backpacking on the weekends and playing soccer for exercise during the week. I am a very centered person and have an easy time relating to just about anyone. I gain energy from being one-on-one with someone, and joy from holding room for people to tell their stories.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as a clinician social worker is to provide a confidential and non-judgmental environment for you to feel comfortable enough to share your deepest fears, pain, and desires. My desire as your counselor is to be able to help you overcome these challenges and develop into the best version of yourself.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I am a strengths-based and client-centered therapist. This means I do not have any expectations of you when you walk through my door, and that you have as much control over the session as you would like. I can provide as much or as little structure to our sessions, depending on your needs. You can expect me to be open and honest with you, and provide a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space for you to explore your deepest struggles.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
I believe that God has the power to heal and restore hope. Being able to integrate this power and strength of God into a therapy session allows for a unique and fulfilling path to healing. To be able to use the wisdom of God to facilitate healing gives the opportunity for long-lasting change to take place. In my practice, I draw from God’s Word to inspire thoughts and provide meaningful encouragement that will speak to you in the midst of your difficult circumstances.
Qualifications & Experience
I received my Master’s degree in Clinician Social Work at the University of Southern California (USC). In my time there, I trained under the CEO of a non-profit in San Diego, California, facilitating the rehabilitation of young homeless mothers. I provided individual, family, and group therapy for these mothers experiencing homelessness.
Besides my Master’s degree, I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Psychology and my Associate License in Clinician Social Work (LSWAIC). I have been training in ABA therapy for behavior interventions, Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT+), De-escalation Training (CPI), and DBT.
I have been providing therapeutic interventions for behavioral and psychological struggles for the past six years. Informally, I have been providing supportive learning for ten years.
My Call to Christian Counseling
My family and I lived through a traumatic experience when I was a child. The therapeutic interventions that I received after that event inspired me to pursue a career in therapy. As I got older and started to learn more about my faith and the love of God, I realized that He was the saving power in my time of greatest need. I then wanted to pursue a career in Christian counseling to provide the support and space for healing that I so desperately needed in my time of struggle.

Counseling for Children
If you are a parent of a child who is having problems with behavior, has had a traumatic event happen in their lives, or is having problems fitting in socially, you and your child are not alone in the struggle. I have worked extensively with children in crisis, and have training in cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy. Children think and learn through play, and depending on their age, do not have the ability to express in words what they are thinking and feeling. Being able to work through their trauma or other struggles through play therapy is the best path to healing.
Counseling for Teens
As your children become teenagers, they are faced with numerous challenges and changes. The combined surge of hormones along with an undeveloped frontal lobe (the area of the brain that controls reason and expressive language) is the perfect recipe for anyone to have difficulty figuring out how to fit into the world around them. Parents struggle to understand their teenagers and vice versa. I offer a place to feel un-judged and able to explore with your teenager who they are and who they want to be. I can also help parents understand how to parent teenagers in order to set them on the path of success.
Experiencing a traumatic event can be very isolating and devastating. I can tell you right now that I am here for you and we can get through this together. If you are willing to tell me your story, I will provide a trustworthy space for you to heal. I am nationally certified in Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral therapy, which is an evidenced-based treatment shown to be effective for children, adolescents, and their families. Research shows that within 8-25 sessions you will be feeling better and have a decreased chance of experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Anxiety and/or Depression
If you are living with anxiety and/or depression, you are not alone. If you are strong enough to ask for help for healing, I can promise you that if you work hard with me, you will start feeling better. Through our sessions together and with the strength that God has given you, you will be able to work on your anxiety and/or depression through the evidence-based practice of cognitive behavioral therapy. With hard work and God by your side, you can accomplish anything.
There are many different types of families, each with their own unique issues. Having worked with numerous different cultures and family structures, I will provide a safe space for you to confront these issues head on and work through the barriers in your family relationships. You will have the opportunity to be able to communicate without fighting and share love with each other in order to create a warm and encouraging environment for every member in your family.
There are ups and downs in any relationship. I offer an open atmosphere where you can share your wants and needs in your relationship. In sharing your deepest fears and greatest desires and identifying your barriers in communication, your relationship will take on a whole new meaning.
