I offer professional Christian counseling for children, teens, and adult individuals facing a variety of challenges. Whether you’re looking for support for trauma recovery, chemical dependency, abandonment issues, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or other concerns, I would be honored to help you find tools to overcome your trials. I am here to be a landing spot, a safe place, and an encouraging person for you. My hope is to assist you in processing any pain, trauma, or wounds that are burdening you and to help you identify what is most important for you to pursue going forward in life, with God’s help and direction.

My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as your counselor is to empower you to find a more accurate and defined version of your true self. As we work together to discover your core values, I hope you will also discover which aspects of life you want to pursue more, and what you want to do less of. As we seek to follow God’s lead and direction, we will take steps toward realizing those goals and achieving the wholeness and growth you desire.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable, heard, validated, and respected as you share whatever concerns are on your mind and heart. In our time together I will follow your lead to address whatever issues you want to discuss, offering faith-based encouragement and therapeutic activities when appropriate.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
My faith is a major defining part of who I am and informs my practice greatly. For those clients who are also Christians and wish to incorporate faith into our sessions, one benefit is that as brothers and sisters in Christ, we share the value of Christ-centeredness, and the ability to discuss aspects of faith is normalized.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Master of Arts in School Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Portland State University.
My Call to Christian Counseling
Working at a youth summer camp for the Salvation Army gave me the drive to pursue working with people, especially as a counselor.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I enjoy the outdoors a lot. Catch me riding a bike, hiking a trail, or swimming in a nearby lake or river, and I’ll be smiling ear to ear. Someday, I aspire to walk the PCT trail in its entirety. I also love animals, reading, drawing, and playing different sports. I played baseball and wrestled when I was younger, which engrained in me the idea of hard work being the backbone of a great life.
