As your therapist, I will provide you with a welcoming and safe space to explore the desired outcome of your life. With empathy and compassion, I will seek to see your experiences through your lens and work with you toward holistic healing – physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual – with God’s help and direction. My desire is to walk alongside you on this journey and help you to realize the potential you have within to achieve greatness and restoration in your personal life and relationships.
Monroe – Sun, Mon & Wed
Mill Creek – Tue & Thu
I work with clients of all ages, including children, teens, adult individuals, couples, families, and groups. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, or other concerns, I would be honored to meet you where you are and walk with you toward a place of wholeness and health. Together we will establish a treatment plan catered to your unique needs, asking the Lord for guidance as we cling to His promises and seek His will for your life.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goals as a counselor are to meet you where you are personally and to provide you with God’s love and therapeutic support as you journey on the path that lies ahead of you. My hope is that our work together would be an expression of the loving embrace of God, and that through our sessions you will achieve your goals and healing with His help.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
You can expect to be welcomed to each session with warmth and gentleness. I offer empathy, patience, understanding, and a safe place to discuss anything that is on your mind. My aim is for our sessions together to provide an opportunity for you to grow and develop into the unique and spiritual human being that God intended you to be. My goal is to walk with you on this journey by understanding what you have experienced through your eyes and provide you with guidance where needed.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
Providing clients with the opportunity to explore their own Christianity in a deeper way and develop a closer relationship with God through the counseling process leads to the holistic healing of not only the mind and body, but also the spirit. I believe God guides my practice through His loving embrace, unending support, and comfort which I will carry into my sessions with clients, walking with them as He walks with us.
Qualifications & Experience
I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Capella.
My Call to Christian Counseling
I began my career in education and took a child psychology class that really sparked my interest. Prior to that, I recall as a child I sat in my room praying one night about the state of the world as there were wars happening and I felt sad about it, so I made a promise to God to “save His children.” I feel that always stuck with me, and what better way to take care of God’s children than by experiencing the world through their eyes and helping them overcome their challenges.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I enjoy reading, writing, and spending time with my family. We love to go “glamping” in our RV and have traveled from Washington to Florida and back in the RV. Being outdoors and a part of nature makes me feel grounded and a part of the vastness that surrounds us.

ADHD
I have had the pleasure of working with the neurodivergent population for more than eight years. I provide clients with a warm and welcome place to share exactly who they are without judgment or preconceived notions related to a specific diagnosis. I will embrace your uniqueness and do everything I can to make you feel free to express yourself in any way that feels comfortable to you.
Anxiety
You are not alone in your anxiety. I approach anxiety with open arms and empathy, as it can be very challenging to navigate. I will use a person-centered approach to help you recognize what may be a trigger for your anxiety and to explore ways to help ease the discomfort you may be experiencing in a way that is most fitting for you.
Trauma
Past or present trauma can lead to an unpleasant life journey. My goal when treating clients with trauma is to meet the client where they are in the present moment. Trauma can be difficult to address, and I want you to feel comfortable disclosing your trauma in your own time. I use a gentle approach through person-centered therapy when working with clients who have experienced trauma. I will encourage you with the truth that God is present with us in session, blanketing you with His love and guidance as you share your experiences with me. Along with person-centered therapy, I may also use trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy where appropriate.
Counseling for Teens
The adolescent years can be difficult to navigate as the body is going through an array of changes both physically and emotionally. I am here to help you learn more about who you are and who you want to be. Using a person-centered approach, we can explore the different facets of who you are and develop goals that will help you progress through this stage of your life. I enjoy working with teens and have many years of experience helping teens with depression, anxiety, and lack of motivation.
Individual Therapy
As an individual therapist, it is my desire to help you achieve the goals you have set for yourself. I use a person-centered approach when working with individuals, as it allows me to really understand you as the client providing you with the acknowledgment that you are the expert of your life. I will walk alongside you in this journey to self-actualization, healing, improved self-esteem, or whatever it is you would like to focus on in your life, and will provide you with support and guidance as requested.

Tammette is a great therapist in all areas: grounded, kind, compassionate, true. She’s super flexible and accommodating with our schedule/budget. Nonetheless, my deepest gratitude is on how she navigates dealing not only w our very shy kids, but also w their two divorced, at times disagreeing, but very present parents. Thank you for your investment in our kids lives. May God continue to use you and bless you abundantly. Almost forgot to show you guys her very welcoming and calming office. Here are some pictures:
